Egypt

Warm nutmeg and spices meld with earthy patchouli and sandalwood, while lavender brings brightness and sophistication. Deep leather notes lead to a rich base of woods and moss. A rich and refined fragrance celebrating the ancient art of Egyptian perfumery.

From Eight & Bob
In 1935, Albert Fouquet traveled to Egypt to visit his childhood friend Ahmed and study the country's rich perfume heritage. During his stay, Fouquet immersed himself in Egypt's aromatic traditions, visiting the temples of Luxor and Hatshepsut. It was in Ahmed's villa garden, filled with local blooms, where Fouquet found the inspiration for a new fragrance.

Moved by his experience, Fouquet returned four months later to work on the composition. After weeks of collaboration at Ahmed's villa and final refinements in Paris, EGYPT was created.
