Named after one of Saturn's geyser-rich moons, and the son of Gaia, a giant, whose jerks cause earthquakes, and breath causes the eruptions of Mount Etna. This tenebrous vetiver is carved from a dense black material with a green glow.
The verticality of the ingredient is highlighted in the top notes of rhubarb, acidic and fruity, and the scent of vibrant sap, giving way in the middle notes for a smoky, leathery, powerful accord. A grand, uncompromising green leather with almost vintage accents, softened by the milky smokiness of sandalwood. Sweetened by the bitter almond, hay, and tobacco accents of tonka bean, vetiver reveals its nutty facets. A delicious paradox, Encelade the Volcano can be sensual and addictive without losing any of its primordial power and wild magnetism.
