Fornasetti is a scientist of the imagination, rigorously studying reality and transforming it with his characteristic black stroke and a wise dose of madness. In his creative encyclopaedia he rewrites medieval bestiaries and herbariums, pulling together different mythologies, suggestions and archetypes. And so the Peccato Originale design was born: the coils of the snake creep into a forest of foliage, rewriting the Garden of Eden’s fate. Fornasetti's muse, Lina Cavalieri, joins the snake to interpret the theme of original sin.

The Fornasetti fragrance Frutto Proibito is seductive. It awakens the senses with Mediterranean and citrus top notes that embrace the scent of jasmine in a luxurious abandonment to enticing tuberose notes and sweet rosewood caresses.
