Odeur 53
From Comme des Garçons
The first anti-perfume, composed of 53 abstract smells. Based on chemically formulated ideas of inorganic materials. Created from research into solid phase microtechnology. In the way this fragrance was constructed, we cannot differentiate head to base notes.
Odeur 53 contains no floral or plant essences. The majority of the ingredients are true-to-nature copies of inorganic smells. Amongst the «real» inorganic smells captured and recreated are «volcanic rock, «freshly mowed grass», «washing drying in the wind», «sand dunes», «fresh mountain air» and «the flash of metal».
A shape-shifter on different skins – see what it does on yours.
Released: 1998
Perfumer
Anne-Sophie Chapuis and Martine Pallix
Notes
volcanic rock, laundry drying in the wind, the flash of metal, freshness of oxygen, nail polish, fresh cut grass, fire energy, mountain air note, sand accord, burnt rubber
